Phil Cook

Phil Cook is a solo musician and member of Megafaun and The Shouting Matches. When Phil Cook isn't touring the world with his genre-blending folk band Megafaun, he's on the porch. Specifically, the sunny porch of his North Carolina home.
Jenks Miller

Jenks Miller lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He records music under his own name and as Horseback (Relapse Records, Hydra Head, Three Lobed, Utech, Aurora Borealis, Turgid Animal, etc.), and is a founding member, songwriter and guitar player in the band Mount Moriah (Merge Records, Holidays for Quince). He has also played on, produced, recorded and/or mixed a number of records for other bands.
Kane Smego

Kane “Novakane” is a National Poetry Slam finalist, Southern Fried Poetry Slam Champion, touring artist, and the Artistic Director of Sacrificial Poets. Kane seeks to inspire people to tell their own stories, and challenges them to transform themselves and their communities through the use of the spoken and written word.

Creative director for 521STUDIES, coordinates local and global collaborations with both businesses and artists to help them tell their stories.


Sacrificial Poets

A spoken word poetry organization that serves middle, high school, and college-aged youth in the Triangle Area of North Carolina. The organization facilitates writing and performance workshops throughout the state and hosts regular youth poetry events. It's mission is to inspire, foster, and promote artistic expression, personal growth, and social justice for youth in our collective communities through the use of the spoken and written word.

Nick Sanborn

Nick Sanborn is a musician and artist from Wisconsin currently residing in Durham, NC. As a solo artist, Nick writes and records under the name Made of Oak and has played bass with several Triangle bands including The Love Language and Megafaun.
